Art of Lovemaking - Daily Tip
Today's lovemaking tip is about...
Opening to Trust
We focus on issues of trust very early in the Art of Lovemaking, because the only way strong physical and emotional relationships exist is by building and maintaining strong bonds of trust.
With such a bond, you become best friends with your lover. Even better, you don't blame your partner for not fulfilling your needs (nor does your partner blame you for that either) - rather, you accept one another's differences, while appreciating the rewarding gifts you each bring to the relationship.
Trust leads to acceptance... acceptances leads to openness... openness leads to intimacy... and intimacy leads to even more love.
Furthermore, once that bond of trust is truly developed, you lose your fear of letting your partner know what you need - and knowing what your partner needs from you - both in and out of bed.
One game to build trust involves blindfolding your partner and taking him or her on a tour of your living space, using only minimal verbal instructions. As you lead your partner through your living space, he or she learns to trust that you won't direct him/her into something dangerous (like a wall or stove), but rather, care enough so he/she stays safe, even when sightless. This simple, yet powerful exercise is great tool to build trust.
In this lesson, you and your partner will participate in further lessons on trust... and once that trust is built between you both, you'll find that intimacy increases as well.
This tip is taken from Lesson 3 of the Art of Lovemaking course.
