Untouched

I'm talking, but you're not listening,
I'm trying to show you, but you're not seeing,
I'm trying to love you, give me some back,
I just want a caring partner, but in this, you lack.

I can't remember all the fights we've had,
But I know they were never supposed to happen.
Meaningless problems created by your temper,
Emotional pain is the result as I wimper.

I can't figure it out, do you love me?
You can say it, but it feels empty.
Actions always speak louder than words,
I beg you to show me what i rightfully deserve.

We've been married for years, not a big deal,
I've prayed to have your absolute love, where is it?
People say it's normal; we all have our crimes,
But I'm still untouched, still searching for the love that's mine.
